Comments: My lovely foundation doe, Faith, has given me so much. She and her now deceased half sister, MCH Esperanza ZZ Feona, are showing up often in the pedigrees of many of our animals. Finer udders are hard to find and I am pleased to do line breeding to both of these great does. Faith's daughter, Peachy, is doing her share to show the longevity of these milky genetics. Recently, Faith has become more difficult to settle. We are still hoping to have some babies from her and to help her get her stars in AGS and ADGA. Comments: Lovely blue-eyed Tamar came into our herd as a young first freshener. Since then she has become one of our most productive does. Thriving on the milk stand, her 2008 DHI 305 shows what this girl has to give. In just a few short years she has produced enough beautiful kids - twenty-four so far - to complete an entire herd and she is still going strong. Tamar stands on nearly perfect feet and legs and excels in dairy character. Her 2008 LA scores go hand-in-hand with her milk scores showing her to be a strong and productive doe with years to go in her reproduction and production. Tamar was bred to *B DesertNanny Icy Blue Ice Man *S and she kidded January 4, 2010 with two bucks and a doe. One buckling may be available. The bucklings have rightfully inherited their *B *S status from their parents. Tamar has been sold to Pecan Grove where she will join their herd this year on the 305. Sadly we will wave goodbye to a fabulous doe who contributed her share to our herd; but who knows . . . she just may show up in a show somewhere that we attend and show her daughters a thing or two! Comments: Esperanza WS Girl Scout *D 1*M was the product of one of my all-time favorite bucks, MCH/PGCH Ponders End MTB Wall Street +*S, who I purchased from a picture posted on Gail Cole's website when the boy was but a couple of weeks old. When Scout was a kid, I nearly sold her on several occasions, but something kept me from it. As she matured, I saw the squareness and sharpness so desired in this breed of ours. This girl has produced well and we will miss her sweetness and lovely temperament. She has moved to the best home ever and that makes me very happy. Hopefully we will see her in the show ring - she is still as sound as ever and worthy of many more awards as she continues her reproductions. We are so happy to report that we are the proud owners of one of Girl Scout's 2009 sons, DesertNanny HD Last Boy Scout *S! You can see him on the Herd Sires page. |

Comments: La Madrina was a cute little unnoticed doeling from one of Feona's large litters. She started getting her recognition after her first fresh udder was noticed. Madrina's strengths are her extremely high rear udder attachment and her fore udder extension and smoothness. Her little body is soundly built, with its squareness and those fine legs and perfect feet. She has done well in the show ring and has produced some fine kids that we have retained and shown. Her oldest daughter, GCH DesertNanny Icy Blue Skyy 2*D 2*M who is but a two-year-old as I write this, received her CH as a first freshener and has gone on to be one of our top milk producers. Madrina's most recent son, Ice Man has earned his *S, *B through his parents and at the tender age of nine months, already has some fine kids on the ground. We are looking forward to the day when we see the udders and milk from his daughters. With this combination of genetics, I don't think we will be disappointed. I'm really looking forward to seeing what her daughters and sons do for the enhancement of the breed. |

Comments: Just Peachy! That is what I said when this little doe was born. Peachy is one of quints from MCH Faith's last litter. Something told me to keep this girl for awhile to see how she matured. I wasn't mistaken or disappointed. In 2007 we retained two of her three does, Madeline and Winona. They both freshened for the first time early in 2009, and easily earned both their stars in ADGA and AGS. Their little sister, Tango, kidded in March 2009 with twin bucklings at the age of 13 months. Her udder is awesome as a first freshener and we are looking forward to her production in 2010.
At her young age of a little over two, Peachy went on the 305 DHI and finished her lactation at 313 days in milk and held her own with some of the major herds in the US. In 2008 she not only excelled in milk production, but also earned her GCH and ARMCH titles. She went on to win the runner up for the ANDDA All American doe in 2008 by merely three points behind the winner.

Comments: I am so happy to have been able to purchase this doe. We owned her mother and bred her to Icy Hot as part of a sales agreement so she left here before she was born. Thus Savvy carries our herd name. She became available for sale after her first freshening and we are so happy to have been able to purchase her and bring her back to our herd. She has been bred to DF Farms HD Barney Rubble V for March 2010 kids. The paring of these two lines have proven to be successful and we look forward to the outcome and to seeing Savvy's second freshening udder. Savvy kidded with a beautiful buckling on March 10, 2010 that was sired by Barney Rubble. |

Comments: My sweet Sienna absolutely hates posing for the camera and will turn herself inside out so as NOT to be photographed. Otherwise, she is a dream goat and soooo loveable. She has wonderfully soft skin and udder texture and loves the milk stand. She was a doe back from a sales agreement and I immediately sold her to a pet home for a little girl and her father. A year + later, I received a phone call that she was available again. Unfortunately, the owner had passed and they were selling the goats. I was reluctant to go look at her because of my large number of animals. Sienna had freshened about three weeks prior. I could not pass her up, so home she went with us. When I put my hands on her that day, I found a smoothly blended very sharp and angular dairy doe. Her ribbing is outstanding and she is very correct all the way through. Sienna has already done us proud by going Reserve Grand Champion at a recent show - behind her aged mother Esperanza WS Ms Mousey *D 1*M! Needless to say, we are very proud of both of these does. Special thanks goes to the Carpenter Family, the owners of "Granny Mousey", for putting so much TLC into their fine little herd of milkers! |

Comments: Not in a million years would you know that this doe, Rosebud, is the littermate sister to the above doe, BlueTailFly. But, if you look just a little closer, you will see the same long body and similar traits. I had the opportunity to bring Rose back to my herd and did it quickly. She is a ff at three and we were happy with the beautiful udder that formed, but not at all surprised because of her genetic background. She is quite the milker with a soft pliable udder that melts down to nothing. She's on the DHI with the rest and her first test at 29 days yielded 5.2 pounds of milk and 4.8% butterfat. No doubt in my mind that Rose will earn her milking stars this year. |

Comments: Because of the consistent udders I'm seeing in his get and their offspring, is important to me to keep the +B Twin Creeks Icy Hot +*S genetics going in our herd; therefore, I kept Mia for our herd. We've had some excellent results with the Icy Hot/Barney Rubble combination of genetics, so Mia was bred to Barney for late July kids. Mia delivered twin doelings. In April 2010 Teresa, one of the daughters, was Best Junior Doe in Show in Show against 206 junior does of all breeds. The pictures speak for themselves; Mia's udder is very nicely attached with good medial attachment parallel teat placement. |
