Comments: My lovely foundation doe, Faith, has given me so much. She and her now deceased half sister, MCH Esperanza ZZ Feona, are showing up often in the pedigrees of many of our animals. Finer udders are hard to find and I am pleased to do line breeding to both of these great does. Faith's daughter, Peachy, is doing her share to show the longevity of these milky genetics. Recently, Faith has become more difficult to settle. We are still hoping to have some babies from her and to help her get her stars in AGS and ADGA. Comments: Lovely blue-eyed Tamar came into our herd as a young first freshener. Since then she has become one of our most productive does. Thriving on the milk stand, her 2008 DHI 305 shows what this girl has to give. In just a few short years she has produced enough beautiful kids - twenty-four so far - to complete an entire herd and she is still going strong. Tamar stands on nearly perfect feet and legs and excels in dairy character. Her 2008 LA scores go hand-in-hand with her milk scores showing her to be a strong and productive doe with years to go in her reproduction and production. Tamar was bred to *B DesertNanny Icy Blue Ice Man *S and she kidded January 4, 2010 with two bucks and a doe. One buckling may be available. The bucklings have rightfully inherited their *B *S status from their parents. Tamar has been sold to Pecan Grove where she will join their herd this year on the 305. Sadly we will wave goodbye to a fabulous doe who contributed her share to our herd; but who knows . . . she just may show up in a show somewhere that we attend and show her daughters a thing or two! What a remarkable doe! |

Comments: Esperanza WS Girl Scout *D 1*M was the product of one of my all-time favorite bucks, MCH/PGCH Ponders End MTB Wall Street +*S, who I purchased from a picture posted on Gail Cole's website when the boy was but a couple of weeks old. When Scout was a kid, I nearly sold her on several occasions, but something kept me from it. As she matured, I saw the squareness and sharpness so desired in this breed of ours. This girl has produced well and we will miss her sweetness and lovely temperament. She has moved to the best home ever and that makes me very happy. Hopefully we will see her in the show ring - she is still as sound as ever and worthy of many more awards as she continues her reproductions. We are so happy to report that we are the proud owners of one of Girl Scout's 2009 sons, DesertNanny HD Last Boy Scout *S! You can see him on the Herd Sires page. |

Comments: La Madrina was a cute little unnoticed doeling from one of Feona's large litters. She started getting her recognition after her first fresh udder was noticed. Madrina's strengths are her extremely high rear udder attachment and her fore udder extension and smoothness. Her little body is soundly built, with its squareness and those fine legs and perfect feet. She has done well in the show ring and has produced some fine kids that we have retained and shown. Her oldest daughter, GCH DesertNanny Icy Blue Skyy 2*D 2*M who is but a two-year-old as I write this, received her CH as a first freshener and has gone on to be one of our top milk producers. Madrina's most recent son, Ice Man has earned his *S, *B through his parents and at the tender age of nine months, already has some fine kids on the ground. We are looking forward to the day when we see the udders and milk from his daughters. With this combination of genetics, I don't think we will be disappointed. I'm really looking forward to seeing what her daughters and sons do for the enhancement of the breed. |

Missy gave birth to two very colorful and vigorous bucklings sired by DF Farms HD Barney Rubble V on December 27. Everyone is doing well. Since this is Missy's first freshening, the boys will make lovely wether pets for someone. Missy's udder is very nice and she will fit in well with her new milking team.
